DevOps Engineer plays a critical role in building core parts of the Sendios product offering, infrastructure, and features to help all our clients grow every day.

Sendios is searching for an enthusiastic, motivated self-starter who is ready to jump into a dynamic, fast-paced environment and make an immediate impact.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will:

  • Setting up and maintaining the server infrastructure of the project;
  • Interaction with engineering teams and stakeholders;
  • Drawing up documentation and instructions for the operation of the infrastructure;
  • Providing technical leadership for the customer;
  • Provide effective business solutions;

Hard skills:
  • 4+ years overall development/infrastructure operations experience;
  • Experience with Linux operating system;
  • Working experience in administration of MySql, Vertica, Postgres, Elasticsearch, NOSQL solutions;
  • Working experience in administering web servers (Nginx, Apache, PHP, Tomcat, Java) and web applications;
  • Practical experience with virtualization systems (qemu, kvm, VMware) configuration management systems (Ansible);
  • Good knowledge of monitoring systems (Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus);
  • Working with queue servers (RabbitMQ);
  • Deep knowledge of mail protocols;
  • Understanding the network stack (TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN)
  • Ability to create simple and working solutions;

Will be a plus:
  • Knowledge of the network stack and work with network equipment (cisco / juniper)
  • Working experience with kuber and micro-services, Docker
  • CI/CD (gitlab)

Soft skills:
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment;
  • Creative mindset motivated by challenges and constantly striving for the best;
  • Ability to build complex logical connections and explain them in a very simple way.
